Having a new home to decorate can be pretty much equal parts awesome and dreadful. I find that I never have enough time (or money!) to do all the things I truly want. Lately, I have been favoring low-cost do-it-yourself projects that add a cozy touch to my home, rather than bigger, more expensive pieces.
One of the best things about having a place of your own is including personal touches in every room. I love when I walk into someone's home and instantly get a feel for who they are and how they live. The best and easiest way to do this is, in my opinion, is by using photos!
My husband and I LOVE our Polaroid Snap instant digital camera that prints out cute 2x3” pictures. It adds a ton of personality to our photos and are a one-of-a-kind way to add our own flair to any room. Creating a simple photo wall is one of my personal favorite ways to use photos to spice up a space.
I love a really simple display such as hanging the photos on a string or piece of twine. I like my home to look simple and modern, but still have a cozy element to it. With something as easy as hanging your photos on a minimalist display, you can add personality to your home without it being too overwhelming. Plus, you can easily swap out images and keep things fresh by simply replacing the photos or hanging more photos with gold clips as you choose.
